Realm of Possibility

Last week I hit 800 followers on twitter, launched my first product and made my first dollar online.

2 months ago I knew nothing about writing, building an audience, marketing or sales.

But how does a soloprenuerhsip journey start?

It does not start with intelligence or creativity or determination.

It starts with a moment of courage.

Courage to bet on yourself and to risk failure and discomfort.

Most people live in the realm of possibility.

They think they can build a business if they tried or start a blog or launch a product. But they never give themselves permission to try(or fail).

I was living in the realm of possibility for a few years before I quit my job. It is a very comfortable place to be in because there is no risk, there is no failure.

But it is also deceiving. Talking about your dreams makes you feel good but it also stops you from committing to them.

Why?

Because committing to a dream involves risking failure, rejection and ridicule.

At some point you are either going to try something or you are not.

Only talkers and dreamers keep their options endlessly open. Don't be one, be a doer.

Real writers sit down and write, wannabe writers sit around and talk. Same goes for entrepreneurs.

I have seen entire lives being wasted waiting for the "right time". Don't let yours be one.

Commit to that impossible dream. Start building.

It won't be easy, you will fail, you will have rejections. But when you commit to something with honesty the world will move to help you.

The universe rewards courage.
