Bones of a $10k/mo personal brand

If you are reading this chances are you are building a personal brand on Twitter.

Good news is that we are early. Twitter has around 400 million active users right now.

With Elon's takeover and Twitter hitting all time highs in usage rates, it will have 1 billion active users within the next 2-3 years.

Reminds me of TikTok in 2020.

Bad news is that very few people know how to build a brand the right way and twitter is filled with garbage advice.

Growth guides recommend you to comment 100 times a day on big accounts and repurpose cringe platitudes because it is "stealing like an artist".

So how do you build a brand that is a money making machine?

The first step is to have clear goals.

Our goal is to build a high quality and montizable audience.

Our goal is not to only increase follower count.

You want most of your followers to fit your ideal customer profile.

Many people believe that more followers automatically leads to more money which is BS.

Ask yourself this, would you prefer 100k followers who will never buy from you or 1k followers who love you and buy everything you offer.

Play the money game, not the metrics game.

How do you play the money game?

By positioning yourself the right way, by establishing authority and by providing insane amounts of free value.

Share your personality and journey but make sure 80% of your content is value aimed at your dream customer.

This way you will attract high quality followers and your DMs will be filled with quality prospects seeking your advice and help.

And how do you establish authority?

You put out content that reflects expertise:

Long form content proves expertise and builds trust. If your audience don't trust you, they won't buy from you.
